The birds in this area have been nursed back to health by our experienced Sea World Animal Care Team, and many will never return to the wild due to disabilities caused mainly by carelessness with fishing hooks and lines.

Meet the Seabirds
Phil
Species: Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus)
Rescued in 2008 with one wing, Phil now thrives as a beloved ambassador - fishing, cruising, and soaking up the sun.

Papa
Species: Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus)
With a dropped wing and slow gait, Papa was rescued after stranding and now excels in training and health checks.

Goose
Species:Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus)
Rescued after a stranding, Goose is known for her bold personality and low-hanging right wing.

Exhibit Location
The open air Seabird Rehabilitation Aviary is located towards the front of the park. Head past the Sea Jellies Illuminated exhibit and the aviary is on your left hand side.
